Almost Spring weekend

This time of the year is always weird. it’s kinda coldish, it warms up for a day then cold again. I want to take Sienna to the playground without having to cover her up with a coat and hat. It’s coming, i know, I’m just a little tired of the cold air..

We needed to pickup a couple of things at Target and Old Navy this weekend so off we went after the Skype session with my parents.

Here’s Sienna outside Target. She’s eating her goldfish snack and posing for me…

At Old Navy, Sienna took a liking to the little girl manikin. She liked the dog too..

Later that day, we had a visit from uncle Peter!! Usually when Peter comes over, Sienna is taking her nap so we have some time to hang out with him. However, she wasn’t up for that at all. She got him to play blocks, read books and generally horse around with her. I think they both had a good time.. Peter and i discussed cookies and banana bread baking techniques.

Eventually the weather got warm enough on Sunday that i got to take Sienna to the park. I figured that i’d go to the park on Avenue S near the old Doctors offices. I chose that one because it doesn’t have many trees so the sun would shine on us. It was a little on the chilly side when we got there but Sienna seemed so excited to be at a playground that i just let her go..

  1. I love the pigeon chase. How frustrating for poor Sienna. She certainly did not give up though!!

  2. For the briefest moment I thought the dog was real in the Old Navy shot. Lol.

I had a lot of fun with Sienna! (And I generally don’t even like kids! LOL. Sienna’s different though-she’s great.) The hug & kissing game was hilarious. And I love that you mentioned our conversation.
