German Food

On Friday, Lisas dad was over again to watch little Sienna. It was back to date night. I really enjoy these little nights out with Lisa. We get to be alone together without worrying about Sienna. We do tend to talk about her a lot though but i guess that’s inevitable..

We decided to try out a German place in Bay Ridge called Schnitzel haus. As it turns out, Lisa knows one of the waiters. Our kids have play dates together from time to time. I didn’t think to get a picture of her till now. I really have to do a better job of documenting these events..

As we got there, Lisa ordered a tall beer and do i mean TALL. I eventually tried it and i have to say it was so good that i had to have one too.

Appetizer

We had deep fried camembert with rasbery jam as an apprtizer. Originally, i was a little grossed out at the thought of putting jam on Camembert but it was so good!! They worked perfectly together..

My Brats

My Brats

Lisa ordered the ribs and i got the brats. This shot is just before i dropped my camera in the mashed potatoes. I cleaned it off as much as i could but i missed some gunk on the lens so all my pics have this fuzzy quallity to them.

Anyway, i think Lisa enjoyed her meal. I liked mine but i still have a hard time eating brats with a knife and fork. The ones i used to get in Wisconsin at the race track are so much better that it’ll be hard to beat that. Having said that, i would go back to this place.
